Past Or Present?

I have a question for all of you. Is life better now than it was 50 Years ago? For most of you it might be easy but I prefer to look on both sides before I comment on whether life was a paradise then or now. Back then there was no internet and the smartphone was a mystery. Life was more active and healthy. The environment was in a better condition as global warming and pollution levels were much lower compared to now. This might sound small but it is one of the biggest issues faced today. Kids spent more time outside ,this would be every parents'dream come true .The corporal punishment act was still in action in India which in simple words means that young boys and girls would get beaten up if they  didn't bother turning in their homework on  time .During the 70s in India TV made its debut in the second city-Mumbai with the first being Delhi  and the only thing you could watch  on it was  the good old Doordharshan .Once a show aired  you  would not  be able see it again for a long time. That era had food which was organic and the use of fertilizers and adulterants were rare, the cost of most of the essential goods was less .Discos were invented leading to partying all through the night. Every time you'd want to talk to a friend who lives far away you'd either have to memorize their number and call through the landline or you'd have opt  for the snail mail where your friend will read your message after 6 days. That was one crazy decade. The time we dwell in now is different .The internet an smartphone are now our best friends and help us out by doing the hardest and even the simplest tasks with only one click. Our life has become comparatively lazier and unfortunately some kids don’t bother stepping out of their homes to play .Now a days teachers would only threaten to send a diary note to our parents if we forget or left homework at home.Television isn’t something great at this moment and there are hundreds of channels and millions of shows and Doordharshan is now forgotten. Had homework to do and missed a show? There is a 90% chance that the show is on Netflix, prime or other video on demand platforms where you could watch it again and again and even pause it when you have to run to the loo.You now could not only click on their name and call but  you can also have a look at their face by video calling them ;if you choose the letter method you can email them which at maximum might take an hour( if you have bad network) .
On the flip side every household is now hunting for  organic and healthier food and is spending heaps of money on it .Back to the question I asked in the beginning was life better then or now? Well here is my answer I don't know and for the first time I think that is the correct answer.

Population-Boon or Bane❓❓

As of 2020 the population of the world is 7.8 billion which is quite a lot. Even though  our earth is extraordinary it is struggling to hold and meet the demands of all these people ,and I'm afraid its condition wont improve with more of mankind. Humans can bring about the advancement of country ;but more the population more the demand.Lets take an example.A large population requires large infrastructure, more land, more food, more water, more commodities and other resources putting more strain on the environment. All the issues such as pollution, climate change, deforestation, extinction of animals, global warming and holes in the ozone  etc are due to carelessness of  humans .Population  not only has many environmental issues but it also has many other adverse and unfortunate effects like:
.scarcity of resources
.malnutrition and famine
.poverty
.unemployment
.increase in price of commodities
.competition for resources
.strain on medical facilities due to poor
.overcrowding  which decreases hygiene, leading to unhealthy living conditions whose ,aftermath is spread of diseases.
Therefore I conclude that population is a bane.
